Hi, I'm Nan Mac and this is my Golden, Uncle Bob. Welcome to our little portion of the internet. I help you do things to define your style and Uncle Bob is your cheerleader.

This MIGHT be the last cold weekend and I'm vibrating with anticipation of spring days and balmy breezes. If there's still a slight chill in the air, I'll be good with that, too. I can do a few chilly days with a long-sleeved blouse and jeans. (But this miserable arctic weather must stop!)

If we get a few chilly days but don't need a coat, this is what I'll be wearing. These are my favorite Grace in LA Jeans, paired with a lovely red shirt and a pair of black velvet clogs. I love platform shoes and I'm also super fond of clogs because they are easy to pull off when you need to drive. These, from Forever21, are excellent and well made. You don't need socks to try to keep them on. They stay on. No fear of slinging them off. (It's a common issue with clogs) They also support the foot with a rocker sole... no bending. They add height but aren't a "High Heel." It's an almost perfect shoe for Fashionistas who also sport bunions.

I chose red because it's a color of high energy. Wearing red has been known to boost your metabolism. Red is also the color linked to sexuality and desire and did you know that a waitresses wearing red usually gets higher tips??

To complete the look, I've added some glasses with red frames, red tassel earrings, and an ivory tote bag

I had to include this photo of my dog because I love him to bits. He's a 3 year old Golden Retriever. I swear, the secrets this creature knows about Love is mind boggling. Heaven is in his eyes.
